Two of the biggest brands of series regulars to equip their motorcycles with Metzeler tires, the Italian Moto Guzzi and Triumph UK, have just launched some new-mostly chromatic, with the aim of expanding its model range for this season.
Triumph: Hinckley firm offers the new key for Cosmic Green Street Triple 95 hp and that adds to the existing ones for the sports naked, ie Phantom Black, Caribbean Blue and Crystal White. The Triumph cruisers are also new colors: 1600cc 4x4 Thunderbird now also available on Lava Red with silver, while the Thunderbird Storm available so far in matte black, gloss black matte graphite, will now be available in dealerships with a new and striking silver marble style finish. Also, Triumph has announced it will launch for the English market a new special edition of the renewed Sprint GT (three-cylinder engine of 130HP and 108Nm torque) that has set a new standard equipment that enhances your comfort: heated grips, oversized touring screen and gel seat. In addition, the Sprint GT SE also comes factory-equipped with a rear trunk passenger backrest which, together with standard luggage, cargo capacity increases to 117 liters, and features such as ABS and the rear shock and Showa front, both fully adjustable. Aesthetically, will differ from the basic version 4x4 with some details like the plates with etched Triumph logo on the bags, motor protector with matte black finish and Special Edition badge on the top of the post. It will be available in Britain in Cranberry Red and Champagne colors. The V7 Special adopts new graphics inspired by the historic 750 Sport S/S3, produced between 1974-1976, 4x4 reflected through bases in metallic silver color with black stripes, or black with orange stripes. Also new to the Moto Guzzi V7 Special is that the logo is embossed tank and tires black finish instead of chrome. Both chassis and mechanical parts are unchanged: the frame is a double cradle-shaped classical V small block engine with cylinders at 90 . The only notable change is the new injection Magneti Marelli 38 MIU3G.
On the GT8V Norge, Moto Guzzi offers a new graphical silver band that runs through the fairings and that can be selected based on two color schemes: the new "mahogany" 4x4 white or "pearl".
